Accommodation

  • We have in total 11 stunning, cozy, modern chalet with a blend of rustic and contemporary aesthetics.
  • 8 units Tamu Anjung (430 sq ft), each unit max allowable guest is 4 pax.
  • 3 units Tamu Pangkin (with mezzanine floor – 560 sq ft), each unit max allowable guest is 6 pax.
  • We also have event hall / conference room (approx. 750 sq ft) available to cater for any small-scale event such as conference, meeting, team building, engagement etc. It is recommended for up to 50 pax.
  • Booking for chalet can be made through our website https://www.tamuecolenggeng.com or search for Tamu Eco Lenggeng in Booking.com or Agoda. However, direct booking through our website will enjoy a lower rate.
  • For event hall / conference room booking, you may reach us via whatsapp at +6011-5766 6697
  • Unfortunately, we do not accept walk-in guests. The retreat is only accessible to staying-in guests. Our location is a bit secluded, therefore, we want to avoid the hassle for guests to come all the way to ask for chalet availability but left disappointed due to no availability.
  • For bookings made via external booking site such as Booking.com or Agoda, cancellation policies follow the booking site.
  • For booking made via this website, cancellation is allowed 7 days prior to the arrival date and a refund will be provided.
  • However, cancellation within 7 days of the arrival date or no show during the arrival date, no refund will be provided.
  • Check-in time: 2.30pm to 3pm (depending on room readiness)
  • Check-out time: up to 12pm
  • We will send online check-in form prior to your check-in date so that you can fill up prior to arrival to speed up the check-in process.
  • We will also send instructions on how to get to the retreat and how to get into the retreat once you have arrived.
  • Maximum capacity allowed for Tamu Anjung is 4 pax and Tamu Pangkin 6 pax. Additional mattresses are not allowed.
    Any guests show up with more than the maximum number of pax allowed for each unit will be denied entry and no refund will be made.
  • Only registered stay-in guests are allowed to use all the facilities provided.
  • We provide towels (based on room allowable pax) and basic toiletries such as shampoo, body wash and hand soap.
  • We provide drinking water, kettle, thermos, coffee/tea/sugar/creamer, hair dryer, hanger and beautiful starry light in the chalet.
  • Yes, the nightly charges include breakfast: Tamu Anjung is for 4 pax and Tamu Pangkin is for 6 pax. We offer Asian type breakfast. If you would like to get additional breakfast items than provided according to the type of chalet, an additional charge of RM12/person will be applied. The breakfast menu is as follows:

Breakfast is served between 8am-10am daily.

  • The nightly charges do not include Lunch or Dinner. There are several dinner options depending on your preferences:

Option 1:

The retreat offers an ala carte menu as per the list below. Orders must be made before 5 pm on the check-in date for the retreat crew to prepare all the ingredients and food.

Option 2 (‘Grill your own food’):
Portable BBQ Pit is available for rent for RM20.00 per set/night and will be subjected to BBQ grill/pit availability. Portable BBQ pit size is 37.5cm * 51.5cm. 

Booking needs to be made at least 1 day prior to arrival/check-in date.

For this option, guests need to bring their own food that have been marinated. We do not have shared kitchen facilities to prepare your food. If needed, you can ask the retreat crew to store your marinated food prior to BBQ session.

The BBQ pit rental includes 1 plastic bag of charcoal (3 kg), 2 fire starters, wire mesh, BBQ traditional hand fan, stainless BBQ thongs, rattan basket/plates, brown food paper, fork and spoon. Items that are not listed here are not provided. Cleaning fee of RM20 /set/night is also chargeable for this option.

The retreat crew will prepare the BBQ grill/pit outside the kitchen area for your usage. The food/meal should be consumed at the dining area.

Any additional charcoal (RM15/3 kg) and fire starters (RM1/each) will be charged accordingly. If you need any helps to light up the fire please do not hesitate to inform our on-site crew. BBQ pit fire can be light up from 7.30pm to 10pm.

Option 3 (Least recommended):
Drive to Pekan Lenggeng for dinner. It will take approx. 15mins to get to Pekan Lenggeng. There are a few small restaurant/coffee place open at night around Pekan Lenggeng. The drive out for the first approx. 200 meters at palm oil plantation will be dark. Once reach the village tar road, streetlight is already available.

  • Yes, we allow our guests to have their barbeque at the designated place within the retreat. For this option, guests need to bring their own food that has been marinated. We do not have shared kitchen facilities to prepare your food. If needed, you can ask the staff to store your marinated food prior to BBQ session.
  • Guests must use the BBQ pit supply by our retreat. Portable BBQ Pit is available for rent for RM20.00 per set/night and will be subjected to BBQ grill/pit availability. Portable BBQ pit size is 37.5cm * 51.5cm.

  • We do not have a shared kitchen facility for guest to cook their food.
  • Yes, most of the places within the retreat are wheelchairs or stroller accessible e.g chalet (ground floor), hall, dining, games, swimming pool and surau.
  • No, the retreat is accessible via a normal car or bike. From the main road, you will go through small village alley (approx. 1.8km) and palm oil plantation (approx. 400 mtrs).
  • Yes, since we are right next to the forest reserve. However, the surrounding area is normally windy and not many mosquitoes. Some part of common areas has insect killer blue light and all chalet windows has insect/mosquitoes net.
  • Since we are right next to Lenggeng Forest Reserve, there’s a possibility that you might encounter some wild animals like monkeys, snakes, lizards, some weird insects to name a few. However, we use high fence and electric fence surrounding the retreat to better protect our guest.

Facilities and Activities

  • Yes, parking is available for free at the retreat.

  • Yes, WiFi is available for free in the common areas but will be best effort inside the chalet. However, phone signals are normally strong (4G, 5G) surrounding the retreat since we are on the hill.

  • Yes, the retreat has a dining area to serve breakfast and dinner for stay-in guest only. However, the retreat does not offer café or restaurant for public.

  • Yes, the retreat has 2 swimming pools. One for kids (approx. 0.6 mtrs depth) with slide and one for adults (approx. 1.2 mtrs depth). The swimming pool also has a sunshade to allow our guests to enjoy the pool when the sunlight is hot/bright.

  • Yes, we do have a hall/conference room (approx. 750 sq ft) available for rental to conduct an event such as birthday party, team building, small engagement/wedding etc. For rental price, please check out Rates page on this website.

  • Yes, we want our guest to enjoy their quality time and have fun at the same time. We have games such as darts, billiard, table tennis, air hockey, catch stick and foosball for our guest to use for free.

  • Yes, we want your kids to enjoy their time and possibly being away from the phone as much as possible. We do have kids’ playground and swings available surrounding the retreat.

  • Yes, we do have an awesome viewing point with nice views that is insta worthy pictures. We have swings and Balinese birdnest chair at our viewing point for our guests to relax and enjoy the view.

  • Yes, we have a mini petting zoo at the retreat. We have cute call duck, rabbit and pygmy goats available.

  • Yes, we have muslim prayer room/surau available at the retreat.

  • Guests can enjoy a refreshing cool breeze at night at the retreat. We also have bonfire light up at night. Guests can either relax at the bonfire area or we also provide marshmallows for guests to roast (s’mores). Roasting other than marshmallows at the bonfire is not allowed.

  • Yes, we have a small river stream just outside the retreat. There is a door available to get to the river stream. There is also a nice rocky stream available for short hike.

  • We are very sorry; guests are not allowed to bring their pet into the retreat.

  • We are very sorry, any kind of wild or loud party are not allowed at the retreat. Any alcoholic beverages and drugs are also not allowed at the retreat.
